I can tell you though that for human enemies (where the head is the critical spot) you want to roughly aim at the crotch area so the extra projectiles shoot up and score multiple crits making it extremely powerful. Just experiment with it to find what works best and where the "sweet spot" is, although it will be different for different enemies. You basically want the shot to hit multiple times (hopefully criticals) with all the extra projectiles. The pimpernel takes a bit of getting used to.

You can always finish the story then jump straight into the DLC in TVHM. It would probably be best to finish the story before doing the rest of the DLC because some of the DLC contains spoilers for the main game. I would suggest being at least level 50 before attempting it and if you have any trouble you can look up some tutorials on youtube. It's possible to visit the treasure room more than twice per playthrough but that requires leaving the Treasure of the Sands mission active and not turning it in, then glitching back in to the treasure room.įor Hyperius, it's possible to do it solo but you will most likely find it to be incredibly difficult. The quests will reset if you enter the DLC on TVHM or UVHM so don't worry about saving the Treasure of the Sands mission. I got this one from the quest reward, and while it seems extremely strong ( even against non-armored targets ), I'm having a hard time hitting crit spots with it and have no idea why. Do I really need to do this one on multiplayer or can I just keep it there and try to solo it when I'm higher level? From time to time one or two friends join me for a few hours, but I've been playing mostly alone and I enjoy doing so ( can go at my own pace, explore everything, pay attention to the story ).įor the main story line quest, I'm still in the part where I have to go to Opportunity ( The Man who would be Jack ) but I still have to do the other 3 DLCs, finish the last stage of the two Slaughter ( Creature and Bandit ) and a few side quests here and there.Īny advice on how I should pace myself to get good efficiency in gear ( to prepare myself for TVHM ) and fun?Īlso a specific question about the Pimpernel. Should I save this second run for when I'm in TVHM/UVHM? Or are all the quests reseted when I switch the difficulty?įor the Hyperius The Invincible quest, on the description it mentions that I should bring friends. Once with the main quest and the second time with this quest. I did a quick google-fu on why Treasure of The Sands shows up again, and it seems like it's just another run for more loot, but someone on the gearbox forum mentioned that you can only access the chest room twice per character. Hyperius The Invincible and Treasure of The Sands. I went back to the Oasis to turn in the main quest, and noticed 2 new quests.

The Leviathan fight was quite hard as Sniper Zer0 ( lvl 29 ), but after dying a few times I decided to just switch to the Scarlett pistol to deal with the worms and time full mag snipes on the leviathan weak spots and finally got it down, hitting the last one ( the tongue ) was challenging, but super fun. Like the title says, I just finished my first BL2 DLC and it was incredibly fun.
